12-month Blended Learning Process

Through our blended learning approach, skills are introduced, developed and reinforced over a 12-month period.

This means retention and real-world application back in the workplace.

At the heart of our approach to blended learning is eCoach, our online learner’s portal. Here’s how it works.

Before the workshop - Skills are Introduced
About three weeks before their workshop, participants complete an online course that (1) introduces them to the basics of effective organization and (2) helps them prepare the presentation, meeting or training session they will be practicing in class. When pre-work is complete, participants upload it to Turpin so their instructors can review and prepare feedback that will be delivered in the live workshop.

During the live workshop - Skills are Developed
During the workshop, participants refine and practice delivering their real-life presentation, meeting or training session.  Throughout the process,they explore and develop skills that work uniquely for them.  Private coaching helps keep everyone focused.

After the workshop - Skills are Reinforced
For 12 months, participants con have access to eCoach. It includes their in-class videos with integrated instructor feedback, a class recap letter, all course materials and refresher videos.  They also have access to their instructors through the “Ask an Expert” forum.
