As a training provider, Turpin’s goal is very simple.
We want to be recognized as the best in the industry.
To that end, we provide the most practical, personal, efficient, long-lasting communication skills training available anywhere. Meeting this goal requires a close partnership with our clients, a partnership built on mutual trust, frequent communication, and deep insight into client needs and goals.
Our workshop-based pricing policy helps us reach all of these goals. By charging clients for a particular workshop—and not by the hour, by the participant or some combination—we’re able to do what needs to be done to prepare for and follow up on the training we deliver, without putting our clients in the position of worrying about additional fees or unexpected costs.
Included in the workshop fee, buyers receive:
- Unlimited access to Turpin’s Account Manager, Workshop Coordinator and Trainers to discuss strategic goals, class tailoring (to company, function and individuals), budgeting and logistics
- Buyer-specific eCoach access that includes everything the learners have access to (except for their learner videos and follow-up letter, which are considered confidential) plus:
- Workshop overview and room/AV requirements
- Snapshot of all scheduled and pending workshops
- Records of all communications sent to participants
- Post-training participant evaluation reports
- Traffic and usage reports
Included in the workshop fee, participants receive:
- Online pre-workshop needs assessment questionnaire and any calls or emails to Turpin concerning the questionnaire or the class
- In-class tools and takeaways
- eCoach license
Finally, here are other things our clients are never billed for:
- Time spent observing presenters during the workshop tailoring process
- Use of Turpin’s training equipment (cameras, projectors, laptops for video review, etc.)
- Local travel or expenses in the Chicago area
- When traveling outside of Chicago, trainers’ travel time, even when flight options require additional overnight stays
